In short
Sohoz Tools is free to use and needs no account. Most tools run entirely on your own device. What you write, choose or send is your responsibility — we do not see it, do not keep it, and in most cases could not keep it if we wanted to.
How the file-sharing tool works
In the file-sharing tool, files travel straight from one device to the other, encrypted (WebRTC). They do not reach our server, are not stored and are never copied. Only a few kilobytes of connection details pass through us — held in memory for a couple of minutes, never written to disk, then discarded. There is therefore no record of who sent what, and none is created.
What you must not do
Do not use any tool here to send, create or spread anything unlawful, stolen or unauthorised. That includes distributing someone else's copyrighted material without permission; child sexual abuse material or obscene content; another person's private documents, NID, banking or medical records without their consent; malware or harmful files; use for threats, harassment or fraud; and anything else prohibited under the law of Bangladesh. Attempting to overload or break the service is likewise prohibited.
Who is responsible
You are responsible for what you send or create. Beyond introducing two devices to each other we play no part in a transfer — we do not see, review or retain the content. If someone misuses the service, that is on them.
Calculations, drafts and legal matters
Salary, tax, land, inheritance, health and every other figure here is offered as an aid. None of it is professional, legal or medical advice, and none of it replaces a document or an official decision. Land and inheritance figures in particular must be checked against the khatian, the deed, a measurement on the ground and a lawyer. We accept no liability for loss arising from relying on a calculation.
No guarantee of service
The service is provided as it is. There is no guarantee that it will always be available, free of faults, or that every figure is correct. Any tool may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is misusing a tool here, write to abuse@sohoztools.com. Note that no file is ever stored with us, so we cannot take a particular file down — there is nothing on our side to remove. We do take reports seriously and will cooperate with any lawful request from the authorities.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any matter arising from them.
